Wedding Receptions and Functions held at the Paquachuck Inn under large tent.

Weddings & Receptions:
The Inn offers a romantic and gracious setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions, private rehearsal dinners and associated functions for between 10 – 200 guests. Events may be held throughout the year on our waterfront patio and grounds overlooking Westport Harbor, or within our elegantly restored historic dwelling.

Our nine charming guestrooms may all be booked by your wedding party to ensure an intimate private celebration.

Rates*:
Inn rental is based on a five-hour period, and includes use of the grounds and first floor of the Inn. Parties have the option to extend the contract for up to three additional hours.

Rehearsal dinners and post-wedding breakfasts held in the dining room are subject to an event fee charged by the hour.

Thirty-minute wedding ceremonies may be held on the terrace for a fee of $500. This fee includes an event coordinator, use of the dining room, plus a one-hour rehearsal and photo opportunity.

Because of the great demand for our venue during summer months we require a $1,000 non-refundable deposit on reservation.

Rental fees include:

  • Use of Inn’s first floor and grounds
  • Photo opportunities on the grounds
  • Coordination of deliveries and services

Other considerations:

  • Parking is limited on Westport Point, off-site valet car parking is recommended. The Inn can provide a list of nearby options.
  • Port-a-John(s) are required for groups of 40 or more.
  • The Inn is not handicapped-accessible, please make provision where required.
  • The Inn does not have a liquor license. A licensed, liability-insured bartender is recommended.
  • The Inn can provide a list of preferred caterers, but you are welcome to engage your own.
  • Tents must be frame type, not staked.
  •  In consideration for our neighbors, please no loud music after 10:00pm.
  •  Rubbish must be removed at close of event or additional charges will apply. Tables, china, and tenting may remain. Please notify us of the expected removal time.

The Inn's event coordinator will be engaged to liaise and facilitate activities for your wedding. She will be available to assist in any way prior to the event and on-call during the day of the wedding. Her service attacts an additional fee of $250, and all weddings require her involvement. Other rentals, including tent, tables, china, caterer, bar staff, additional toilet(s), parking and removal of rubbish are the responsibility of the lessee.

Please read the above information carefully. When you confirm a wedding reservation it is assumed you have read and accepted the terms above.

     You are welcome to contact our event coordinator for a list of experienced professionals, from caterers to ministers, with whom we have worked.

Corporate and Private Functions:

     The Paquachuck Inn offers are particularly beautiful setting for private parties and corporate functions throughout the year. July through October you may dine al fresco on our patio, when our waterfront gardens and sparkling harbor are particularly lovely. Clambakes and barbecues are a wonderful way for an organization to entertain clients and employees and their families. The warmth and charm of the Paquachuck Inn make it an ideal location for fall and winter holiday dinners (up to 20) and cocktail parties (up to 60) for corporate and private receptions such as Staff Dinners, Client Receptions, or Anniversary Parties. During December our beautiful seasonal decorations set the stage for memorable holiday parties.

     Private dinners for 20, catered by our gourmet chef or your own, may be booked for any evening of the week. As a delightful option, you may reserve the guest rooms (up to nine), to ensure your guests have a relaxing evening.

Rates:

     The rental fee for a three-hour period after 5:00 p.m. includes the use of the first floor, patio and porch of the Inn, as well as the grounds. Parties have the option to extend the contract for an additional charge. Call for off-season rates.

     Inn & Grounds: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays $800.00

     Monday through Thursday $500.00

     Extended hours billed at $200/hour

     Private dinner parties for up to 18, including gourmet dinner of local food and wine matches and guest room for the night, are offered at $175.
