Located on the very tip of Westport Point the 200 year old inn is surrounded by a working harbor and homes dating back to the 18th Century, The Paquachuck Inn was built in 1827 by Issac Cory and served as ships chandlery and general store, as well as customs house and local post office. Original store cabinets, harpoons and huge whale vertebrae remind guests of those former days. The imposing three story post and beam building towers above the town dock with views of the harbor entrance, active fishing fleet and oyster farm. A short walk will take a guest to Horesneck Reservation: 7 miles of beautiful state beach and the Atlantic ocean.
